Quick BIO

I competed in track & field for nearly 20 years, which included a scholarship to Syracuse University, where I mainly competed in the 100m hurdles and long jump, and majored in Health & Exercise Science. Although I earned spots on several Canadian National teams that took me to places like Australia and Beijing, I never achieved my dream of qualifying for an Olympic team. In 2004, with chronic injuries and depleted finances my career as a track & field athlete ended in disappointment. After several years as a personal trainer and strength coach, a coworker encouraged me to look into the world of bodybuilding. In January 2006, I began a new chapter of my athletic life... Figure Athlete.
